Your data stays yours.
This is a plain-language summary of how we handle the record your body produces. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
Signal recorded by the band — heart rate, heart-rate variability, motion, skin temperature and derived sleep and readiness values — plus the account details needed to sync it to your app.
Why we collect it
To produce the insights you bought the band for, and to improve accuracy across our algorithms. We do not sell personal health data, and we do not rent it to advertisers.
Who can see it
You. Internally, access is limited to the engineers and scientists who need it for the specific feature or issue they are working on, under audit.
How long we keep it
For as long as you keep your account. Delete your account and we remove your personal health record from production systems within thirty days.
Export and portability
Your full history is exportable in open formats at any time, without a membership and without contacting support first.
Research participation
Aggregated, de-identified analysis only happens with explicit opt-in, and you can withdraw at any time without losing product functionality.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production infrastructure requires hardware-backed authentication.
Your rights
Access, correction, export and deletion, regardless of where you live. Write to privacy@healthhack.com and a person will answer.
